For 98% of our shipments, we’ll use direct air-freight as the international mode of transportation as it's the fastest and most secure way to transport high value equipment.

Customs Clearance(7 Days)

POD will handle all of the communication with customs and since we did all of the work upfront, customs clearance is rarely an issue. If any inquires come up, POD will deal with it directly.

Last Mile Delivery(1 Days)

As soon as your shipment has cleared customs, we’ll arrange for direct transport to the destination site. We'll work with the recipient to ensure a seamless delivery.

Will I need any additional permits to import IT Equipment into Egypt?

The documentation process in Egypt is lengthy and complex. In addition to standard import permits, your shipment may require NTRA approvals, apostille declarations of conformity, and letters between the shipper, receiver, and OEM.

I only need to ship a small shipment to Egypt, will I still need to obtain all the documents listed above?

Egypt allows for informal clearance of small, low-value shipments. This can drastically reduce the time and documentation needed to complete the shipment. Informal clearance is rare, and POD can discuss further with you if this is a viable option for your shipment.
